Taking Flight

The first thing we did was watch a movie and then we had to write what happened in the movie in our own words.  We had to take a photo of the movie and put in our story where it fit.  I liked doing because it was fun writing it and we got to copy of something but put it into our own words.

 

I was going to my grandads house but I didn’t want to go because my dad said he was going to play with me at the park. We got there and my dad said, “hi dad”, my grandad said, “hello son”.  My dad told my grandad what I had in my bag: a first aid kit, a bottle and some other stuff. My dad sped away in his car. My grandad sat me on a box and started mowing the lawn. I saw a wagon and a picture of my dad and then I stacked stuff up and barely got the wogan and then I fell off.

  After he saw me lying on the ground, he realised it was my dad’s old wagon. He asked if I wanted to go for a ride. He told me to keep arms and legs in at all times then he said did your dad tell you about the monkeys. We went to outer space and shot the alien spaceships.

Then we went down a waterfall and the wagon turned into a plane.  After that my dad got there and I was sad because I wanted to stay there after such a fun adventure. Then my dad asked why we were so filthy.

He saw his cart and said did I tell you about that time we went to outer space?

I like poem

First we had to write a poem about what we like and we don’t like.  After we did it we had to make a picture about one of the things in the poem.  After that if you finished it you would have to put it in your picture. Then I had to record myself reading my poem.  I liked the recoreding becasue I liked it was quiet when I was outside.
